Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) Support

Test Windows Presentation Foundation applications and controls. QA Wizard Pro 2010.1 includes support for a variety of standard Microsoft WPF controls. Various WPF applications types that QA Wizard Pro supports include:

• Full WPF applications
• WPF controls inside Windows Forms applications
• Windows Forms controls inside a WPF application

Experimental support for XAML Browser Applications (XBAP) is also included in QA Wizard Pro 2010.1.

 

Whitebox .NET Testing

Access the properties and methods of all .NET controls, allowing you to create scripts that validate internal control information and set properties. This new level of .NET support provides an even greater level of control interaction and detail. This is helpful, for example, if you are testing a web submit form and want to push a .NET control button as part of the test.

 

Deeply Nested Controls Testing Support

Now record and run scripts against nested controls without overpopulating the application repository. Only the container controls that have controls nested in them, such as grids and ListViews, are added to the application repository. Nested controls are then located by their relationship to the container controls.

 

64-bit Application Testing

QA Wizard Pro now supports testing 64-bit Windows, Web, and Java applications. Test both 64-bit and 32-bit applications with the same set of scripts, eliminating the need to rewrite existing scripts or maintain a different set of scripts for each version of the application.

 

Expanded .NET, DevExpress, and Janus Systems Controls Support

Record and run scripts against additional .NET, DevExpress, and Janus Systems controls.

 

Additional Features and Enhancements

QA Wizard Pro 2010.1 also includes the following features and enhancements:
