Drag-and-drop scripting and improved test asset organization increase QA productivity

Cincinnati, OH—June 3, 2009—Seapine Software, a leading provider of quality-centric application lifecycle management (ALM) solutions, today announced it has started shipping QA Wizard Pro 2009.1 which features drag-and-drop scripting and improved test asset organization. QA Wizard Pro is Seapine’s automated software testing solution. Grid-based and standard text-based scripting modes have made QA Wizard Pro a popular solution for companies both new to and experienced in test automation.

QA Wizard Pro’s new drag-and-drop scripting features enable users to build scripts by dragging controls onto the scripting window, dragging controls onto a statement in the script statement list, and dragging script statements onto controls in the preview window.

New customizable Workspace folders help busy test engineers manage their test assets, including scripts, batches, and datasheets, in a hierarchy they define and can later change as their needs evolve. Report improvements make reports easier to locate and ensure test results remain associated with test scripts.

QA Wizard Pro 2009.1 also includes support for Internet Explorer 8, Qt 4.4 and 4.5, additional Java SWT controls, and additional .NET Windows Forms control classes, among other new features. The new version is available immediately for evaluation at Seapine Software’s Web site and is a free upgrade for customers with active QA Wizard Pro maintenance agreements.
