Opening Specific Pages and Items in TestTrack RM Reviewer

You can use URLs to open specific pages and items in TestTrack RM Reviewer. For example, you can quickly open a specific requirement or document by modifying the URL in the browser address bar.

Note: You can also use TestTrack ttstudio and http URLs to open requirements and documents in Reviewer.

The URL contains the domain RM Reviewer is hosted on and the following information:

#server_name/project_id/window/item_id?version=#

  • server_name—Web server the Reviewer CGI is hosted on.
  • project_id—ID that corresponds to the TestTrack project to open.
  • window—Page to view:
    • requirementList—Requirements list
    • documentList—Documents list
    • requirementDetail—Requirement details page
    • documentDetail—Document details page
    • specWnd—Document in the specification view
  • item_id—ID for the requirement or document. Only use if requirementDetail, documentDetail, or specWnd is specified as the window.
  • version—Optional. Requirement or document version. Only use if requirementDetail, documentDetail, or specWnd is specified as the window. If not specified, the current version is displayed.

Following is an example URL to open a requirement.

http://server.wysicorp.com/#Europa/1/requirementDetail/4

  • server.wysicorp.com is the domain that hosts Reviewer.
  • Europa is the server_name.
  • 1 is the project_id.
  • requirementDetail is the window.
  • 4 is the requirement item_id.

Following is an example URL to open a specific document version in the specification view.

http://server.wysicorp.com/#Europa/1/specWnd/6?version=12

  • server.wysicorp.com is the domain that hosts Reviewer.
  • Europa is the server_name.
  • 1 is the project_id.
  • specWnd is the window (specification view).
  • 6 is the document item_id.
  • version=12 is the document version.
