Helix ALM Server System Requirements

Article ID: 356  |  Last updated: 18 Apr, 2018

This article provides minimum processor and operating system requirements for the current version of the Helix ALM Server application. The attached PDF file provides processor speed, RAM, and hard drive space recommendations for the server application based on the total number of records and number of concurrently logged in users across all projects. Following the recommendations helps ensure optimal server performance. Running the server on a slower computer can impact performance and cause locking errors.

Tip: The Startup.log file contains information about the Helix ALM Server computer CPU and the number of records across all projects hosted on the server. The file is stored in the same directory as the server application.
