Traceability from Requirements Through Testing

Gain complete traceability with the Seapine's integrated ALM tools. Link requirements, test cases, test suites, issues, feature requests, change requests, test results and assets tracked in software configuration management tools to provide end-to-end traceability of development project artifacts.

  • Link requirements to test cases, test runs, and test run results managed by TestTrack TCM to provide upstream and downstream traceability of requirements to test assets.
  • Link requirements to work items (i.e., feature requests, issues, defect, change requests) managed by TestTrack Pro to provide upstream and downstream traceability of development artifacts.
  • Use TestTrack's traceability matrix to perform coverage analysis by viewing the relationships between related items. For example, you may want to ensure at least one test case has been generated for each approved requirement. You can use the traceability matrix to compare requirements against test cases to see which requirements have test cases linked to them.

TestTrack integrates with most popular source code management (SCM) applications, allowing you to work with records and source code files from within either application. Seapine's customer feedback tools, SoloBug and SoloSubmit, provide an easy way for customers, beta testers, and external team members to submit bug reports and feature requests.

  • SoloSubmit allows an unlimited number of users and customers to use a web-based interface to submit bug reports and feature requests directly to TestTrack Pro projects.
  • SoloBug is a stand-alone bug reporting application that you can customize and provide to your customers to simplify submitting bug reports and feature requests.
