Running Scripts Against Applications That Require Login

Article ID: 818  |  Last updated: 23 Dec, 2014

If a QA Wizard Pro script runs against an application that requires a user to log in, you must log in to the application from the script. If you log in to the application before running scripts, QA Wizard Pro cannot locate windows and controls during playback. We recommend recording a single login script that is called at the beginning of all other scripts that run against the application.

If a script in a QA Wizard Pro batch file performs actions in an application that requires a user to log in, you must log in to the application from the batch file. Add a script to the batch file that logs in to the application before other scripts in the batch run.
