Changing Temporary Directory Mounting on Fedora

Article ID: 732  |  Last updated: 23 Dec, 2014

Fedora 18 and later uses tmpfs to mount /tmp, which sets the directory used for Surround SCM and TestTrack temporary files in the system memory. This directory mounting may cause problems when working with file attachments or reports in Seapine applications.

To change the /tmp mounting, run the following command as the root user.

systemctl mask tmp.mount
