International Character Issues in Surround SCM on Mandrake

When you use Surround SCM on Mandrake international characters may be displayed as question marks if the language is not set up correctly.

To fix this problem perform the following steps when you reinstall or upgrade.

  1. Select English when you are prompted for the language to use.
  2. Click the Advanced button and select Use Unicode by default.
  3. Click OK and finish the installation or upgrade.
