Retrieving Global Users in Surround SCM

Global users were added to the Seapine License Server, but the users cannot log in to Surround SCM.


Users added to the license server are not automatically added to Surround SCM.


Retrieve the global users to Surround SCM.

  1. Log in to Surround SCM as an administrator with license server rights.
  2. Choose View > Users.
  3. Click Retrieve Global User.
  4. Select the user you want to add to Surround SCM and click Add.

Note: Make sure you also add the user to a security group.
