Missing Seapine Subversion Interface Library

Article ID: 545  |  Last updated: 29 Dec, 2014

Problem

When you attempt to configure TestTrack’s SCC Integration with Subversion 1.5 on a 32-bit Linux distribution, the following error is returned:

'Unable to load the Seapine Subversion Interface library from its default location. QLibrary::load_sys: Cannot load /usr/lib/Seapine/tt/libSeapineSubervsionInterface15.so'

Cause

The Seapine Subversion Interface library links to two other shared object files: libasasl2.so.2 and libuuid.so.1. Some Linux distributions do not install these libraries by default. If these libraries are not present, the Subversion 1.5 integration will not work.

Solution

Download and install the appropriate libsasl2.so.2 or libuuid.so.1 package for your Linux distribution. The missing library will be listed in the message. If the message states that the libsasl2.so.2 shared object file is missing, you may need to install both library packages.
