Changing the TestTrack Server to a Service

Article ID: 375  |  Last updated: 05 Jan, 2015

We recommended installing the TestTrack Server as a service on the Windows platform. A service is a program that automatically starts when the system starts and automatically stops when the system is shut down.

To change the TestTrack Server to a service:

  1. Choose Start > Run to open the Run command window.
  2. Enter "C:\Program Files\Seapine\TestTrack\TestTrack Server.exe" -install in the Run command window.
  3. This example shows the default install path. If you installed in a different directory enter that information.
  4. Enter "C:\Program Files\Seapine\TestTrack\TestTrack Server.exe" -remove to uninstall as a service.
