TestTrack ODBC Driver Limitations

Article ID: 361  |  Last updated: 31 Dec, 2014

If your TestTrack Server computer is not exposed (e.g., with a network share or mapped drive), you cannot use the ODBC driver. Unlike the TestTrack Client, the ODBC driver is not client/server based and requires direct access to the table files stored on the computer's hard drive. This means the directory has to be exposed to the ODBC driver through UNC share or a mapped drive.

You may want to consider using the TestTrack SOAP-based SDK as an alternative. You can also create ASP scripts that run server-side ODBC queries that are Web accessible.
