ProblemYou cannot connect to PostgreSQL databases and the Helix ALM Server, Helix ALM License Server, or Surround SCM Server after upgrading to Mac OS X 10.6, and an error similar to the following is added to the server error log: 'Opening the database connection failed, could not connect to server: Connection refused.' CauseThe postgres user was removed when the operating system was upgraded. SolutionTo re-create the default postgres user so the server can start properly, run the attached shell script as root.
