Using the License Server Communications Password
You can set a Seapine License Server communications password that provides additional security by requiring the Surround SCM Server and TestTrack Server to use the same password to communicate with the license server. If you change the communications password, you must also change the password in Surround SCM and TestTrack. Users cannot log in if the corresponding password is not changed.
Change the password in the license server
Enter the password in Surround SCM
Enter the password in TestTrack
If users cannot log in to Surround SCM or TestTrack because the communications password does not match, the administrator can use the local admin password to log in to the Server Admin Utility or Surround SCM and correct the problem. To log in using the local admin password, leave the username blank and enter the local admin password in the password field (default value is ‘admin’).
