The Seapine License Server database can be stored in native database or Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) format. Following are the supported platforms, database vendors, and versions for the current version of the Seapine License Server.

Windows

• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition; 2008 Enterprise, Standard, and Express Editions; 2012 Enterprise, Business Intelligence, and Standard Editions
• Oracle 10g, 11g
• PostgreSQL 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 9.0. 9.1

Mac OS X

• Oracle 10g, 11g (Mac OS X 10.5 only)
• PostgreSQL 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 9.0, 9.1

Linux

• Oracle 10g, 11g
• PostgreSQL 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 9.0, 9,1

Note: If you use Oracle, you must download and install the Oracle OCI driver on the Seapine License Server computer.
