Following are the default directories, commands, and configuration files for Seapine License Server applications running on Linux and Mac OS X. Seapine License Server
- Server port - 5100
- Startup log location - /var/log/LSStartup.log
Linux
- Application directory - /var/lib/splicsvr
- To start - /usr/bin/spls start
- To stop - /usr/bin/spls stop
Mac OS X
- Application directory - /Applications/Seapine License Server
- To start - Use System Preferences
- To stop - Use System Preferences
Seapine License Server Admin Utility
Linux
- Application directory - /var/lib/splicsvr
- To start - /usr/bin/lsadmin
Mac OS X
- Application directory - /Applications/Seapine License Server
- To start - Double-click icon in Applications/Seapine License Server
Configuration files
- splicsvr.conf - Used by the Seapine License Server. Contains information such as server port number and application directory. Located in /etc.
- splicsvrclient.conf - Used by the Seapine License Server Admin Utility. Contains information such as the configured server connections. Located in /etc and the user’s home directory.
