If you receive an error message similar to the following after attempting to start the Surround SCM Server, a required libgcc file may be missing or outdated on your Linux distribution:

‘libgcc_s-3.3.0’ not found (required by /usr/lib/Seapine/libstdc++.so.5)

Refer to your Linux distribution’s documentation for information on installing or updating the libgcc file.
