Note: This information applies to TestTrack 7.5.x - 2008.x and Seapine License Server 3.1 - 2008.x.

You can configure TestTrack projects, the TestTrack Server database, and the Seapine License Server database to use a Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) for the backend database.

Following are the supported platforms, database vendors, and tested versions.

Windows

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition, 2000 Enterprise Edition

SQL Server ODBC Driver 2000.81.9042.00

MySQL 5.0

MySQL 5.0 client drivers
Supported in TestTrack 7.5.3/Seapine License Server 3.3.2 and later

Oracle 11g, 10g, 9i

ODBC - 10g client (10.01.00.02); 9i client (9.2.0.6.0)
10g Instant Client Package (R1)

PostgreSQL 8.1

PostgreSQL 8.1 client drivers
Supported in TestTrack 2008.1/Seapine License Server 2008.0.2 and later

Mac OS X

MySQL 5.0

MySQL 5.0 client drivers
Supported in TestTrack 7.5.3/Seapine License Server 3.3.2 and later

Oracle 11g, 10g, 9i

10g Instant Client Package (R1)
We only support Oracle running on a Power PC

PostgreSQL 8.1

Supported in TestTrack 2008.1/Seapine License Server 2008.0.2 and later
