Note: This information applies to TestTrack 7.5.x - 2008.x and Seapine License Server 3.1 - 2008.x.
You can configure TestTrack projects, the TestTrack Server database, and the Seapine License Server database to use a Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) for the backend database.
Following are the supported platforms, database vendors, and tested versions. Windows
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition, 2000 Enterprise Edition
- SQL Server ODBC Driver 2000.81.9042.00
MySQL 5.0
- MySQL 5.0 client drivers
- Supported in TestTrack 7.5.3/Seapine License Server 3.3.2 and later
Oracle 11g, 10g, 9i
- ODBC - 10g client (10.01.00.02); 9i client (9.2.0.6.0)
- 10g Instant Client Package (R1)
PostgreSQL 8.1
- PostgreSQL 8.1 client drivers
- Supported in TestTrack 2008.1/Seapine License Server 2008.0.2 and later
Mac OS X
MySQL 5.0
- MySQL 5.0 client drivers
- Supported in TestTrack 7.5.3/Seapine License Server 3.3.2 and later
Oracle 11g, 10g, 9i
- 10g Instant Client Package (R1)
- We only support Oracle running on a Power PC
PostgreSQL 8.1
- PostgreSQL 8.1 client drivers
- Supported in TestTrack 2008.1/Seapine License Server 2008.0.2 and later
