This article provides minimum processor and operating system requirements for the Surround SCM Server application. The attached PDF file provides processor speed, RAM, and hard drive space recommendations for the Surround SCM Server based on the total number of files and files per branch on the server computer. Following the recommendations helps ensure optimal server performance.

Note: The Surround SCM Server database and mainline branches can be stored in an RDBMS. See Surround SCM RDBMS Support for information about supported platforms, database vendors, and versions.
