I can't start Surround SCM.  When I click the link on the taskbar or in the Windows menu I see the "neon tire" (wait) spinning for a couple of seconds but then it stops and the app doesn't start.  I can look in task manager and see SURROU~1.EXE running but there is no app in the applications tab.  Each time I try to start it another SURROU~1.EXE process starts.  

I have rebooted and uninstalled / re-installed SCM but it still fails to start up.

In the installation folder of SurroundSCM you will find a log file called "SCMStartup.log" in this file it will show you the problem as a log entry.

I would recommend you either email support@seapine.com the file or past the last entries in a reply here wher eit shows the error or warning.

Remember that once the server starts you can open the SurroundSCM client to connect to it. The server runs as an EXE and there is no GUI for the server application as it just listens on a port number for communication from any SSCM client (command line or GUI client).
