The new version of TestTrack Studio contains enhancements designed for the needs of large or growing development organizations.
Performance and scalability enhancementsA 64-bit TestTrack Server on Windows allows access to more RAM on the server, which improves efficiency for large installations.
Administrators can control how user and customer lists load. This improves performance of the TestTrack Web Client and makes it easier to navigate projects with large numbers of users and customers.
Usability enhancementsNew department and division fields allow administrators to group users to match their organization’s hierarchy. For organizations with LDAP, TestTrack can also obtain this information directly from an LDAP server and include the existing designations automatically.
To assist organizations with a large number of employees, every user field now has a find button. With simple and advanced search capabilities, users can quickly locate the exact person they are looking for.
Filter enhancementsInteractive filters prompt users for input, making searches more intuitive and flexible. Users can control who has access to certain filters by sharing them with specific security groups.
Organizations can also filter user fields by the user’s security group, company, division, or department. For larger organizations with hundreds of users, this improves the search performance.
Administration enhancementsBulk field changes, two-level sorting of user lists, and support for LDAP division and department fields means simplified management for large organizations.
