Seapine Software Continues Growth, Spills Over Into Additional Space in Mason

Fast Growing Technology Company Adds Products, People, Space, and Customers

Mason, Ohio—March 16, 2007—Seapine Software, Inc., a global provider of quality-centric application lifecycle management (ALM) solutions, has moved into an additional 7,500 square feet of space in its namesake building across I-71 from Paramount’s Kings Island. The growing Mason software and services company houses software developers, sales, support, services, and marketing employees, in almost 38,000 square feet of space in the building, up 25 percent from earlier this year. Seapine creates tools that software developers use to manage the creation, change, and testing of every kind of software including Web applications, financial transaction systems, video games and even the software that may be running on your mobile phone.

“We really needed the space,” said Richard Riccetti, president and CEO, Seapine Software.  “We’re rapidly adding employees to support new products and a growing list of customers, we’re doing more in-house training, and the collaborative development processes we use require flexible space for team meetings. We’ve also begun application hosting services for some customers; that derivative business model required us to add dedicated servers and other infrastructure,” Riccetti went on to say.  

Seapine recently announced it will be shipping an all-new product, QA Wizard Pro, in April 2007. The tool allows software applications to be tested automatically, removing much of the need for human testers to do this sometimes boring and usually error-prone task. Software can be developed faster and cheaper using automated testing and product quality can be greatly increased. Riccetti said that Seapine’s other products, including TestTrack Pro for defect tracking, Surround SCM for source code management, and TestTrack TCM for test case management, would also get new releases this year, and there are several brand new products on the drawing board.

Seapine’s tools enable a variety of popular software development methodologies and help managers implement and enforce industry-recognized software engineering best practices.
